Shipping and Delivery of your order

Safes

Safes tend to weight over 100lbs. and require shipment via a freight company.  Please make sure your home is accessible for the freight company.

Your responsibilities are as stated below:

Schedule Freight Delivery: Discuss with the freight company to arrange a specific delivery date and time that aligns with availability.

Ensure Adult Presence: Confirm that someone aged 18 or older will be present at the delivery location to receive and sign for the shipment.

Verify Details: Double-check the delivery address, access instructions, and any special handling requirements with the freight company.

Provide Confirmation: Once scheduled, share the confirmed delivery window and adult contact details with all relevant parties.

Deliveries typically occur Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (local time) however this can vary depending on the carrier.  

If a delivery attempt is made and no one is available to receive the shipment, the freight company will assess a re-delivery fee.

This fee must be paid before the shipment can be rescheduled.

To avoid additional charges, please ensure that someone 18 years or older is present at the scheduled delivery time.

Inspection Rights & Responsibilities:

Right to Inspect: You are entitled to inspect your shipment if there is visible damage to the carton, crate, or pallet while the delivery company is there.

Unpacking: once the safe is unpacked check for any damages and report the damages to Safes and Security Direct immediately or within 24hrs.

Pictures: take pictures of the damages and forward them to Safes and Security Direct

Notes: make a note on the delivery receipt of any damages

Reject shipment: if the damage is not repairable (eg. paint touchup) you can reject the delivery 

Shipping: allow 3-5 days to process the order 

Delivery timeframe: allow 7-14 days after order is processed  

Cameras

Allow 2-3 business days to process the order

All of our surveillance cameras and accessories ship within 5-7 Business days after the order has been processed
